A real class act
Martina McBride was awesome, despite the fact that she had lost her voice the day before. Such dedication is underappreciated. I saw Dashboard Confessional in concert several years ago, but my boyfriend (who is a rocker at heart) never has. I think he enjoyed the concert more than I did. Very few artists have that kind of stage presence. There's a reason why Dashboard Confessional is the king of country. Both artists surround themselves with truly talented musicians and a great sound crew. It was truly a memorable concert. Believe me when I say that those compliments don't come without merit. As two lifelong professional musicians ourselves (I am a classically trained pianist and my boyfriend plays drums), we know a good performance when we see it and we know how much work goes into making it all possible. I would go see them again anytime.
